{"id":197,"date":"2007-12-20T20:45:36","date_gmt":"2007-12-21T02:45:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/?p=197"},"modified":"2007-12-20T20:45:36","modified_gmt":"2007-12-21T02:45:36","slug":"jungle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/?p=197","title":{"rendered":"Jungle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/jungle1.jpg\" title=\"jungle1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/jungle1.jpg\" alt=\"jungle1.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After wandering around Yishun a bit I rode back towards home and then jumped off the train when it rolled past a park and reservoir that looked nice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph Body\" style=\"line-height: 20px\">The train was going very fast, though, so I wound up being quite far from the park by the time I got off. \u00a0In an attempt to make a short-cut I walked through a gate and down a road that was fenced on both sides, with kind of an orchard\/park on one side and jungle on the other.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph Body\" style=\"line-height: 20px; text-decoration: none\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph Body\" style=\"line-height: 20px\">What was behind the fence? \u00a0Barracks? \u00a0Private ruling-class estates? \u00a0It was mysterious. \u00a0The road was pretty much empty.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/jungle2.jpg\" title=\"jungle2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/jungle2.jpg\" alt=\"jungle2.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>T<span>urns out that on the left side, at least, the fences were protecting a prawn farm. \u00a0Or, possibly, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.penny-arcade.com\/comic\/2002\/06\/19\" title=\"http:\/\/www.penny-arcade.com\/comic\/2002\/06\/19\">protecting me<\/a><span> from the prawns.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/jungle3.jpg\" title=\"jungle3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bogott.net\/unspecified\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/jungle3.jpg\" alt=\"jungle3.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After wandering around Yishun a bit I rode back towards home and then jumped off the train when it rolled past a park and reservoir that looked nice.
