I had a few of these in a 90-gallon planted tank. This male spawned several times, always using a partially-curled underwater leaf of a waterlily.
He stayed with the fry quite a long while. Eventually I removed some wrigglers and raised them in safer quarters. I don’t remember what I fed them but they were no trouble to raise at all.
